From the top of the World (or the Cuesta Grade at least)

Today Levi and I went on a hike at the top of the Cuesta Grade.  It was a nice hike that had beautiful views of San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay.  It was pretty long but not very steep so it wasn't too difficult.  Next time I'll remember to go in the morning though so I don't have to take pictures into the sun.  Here are a few from today.

  1. What a gorgeous place! I particularly loved the photo of the green rippling (not quite rolling) hills. Levi looks so handsome, and his coat looks plush. I really like the side silhouette shot of him, too.

  2. Beautiful, beautiful pictures, Kristen! Levi is soooooooo handsome (of course!). Love that photo of him with stick in mouth - Avalon adores sticks as well! Or anything that she can carry around in her mouth - is Levi the same?

  3. HELLO!! I found your blog via Samantha, and just wanted to say how much I enjoyed reading your posts. I even went back to the very beginning in March of last year. I'm so glad that you have Levi to fill the spot left by your precious Kobe. And, I look forward to getting to know you both a bit better! I hope your New Year is off to a good start!!

PS: I enjoyed this this post--What amazing pictures and a wonderful day you shared!

  4. Thanks everyone for the photo compliments. I figure that it isn't hard to get a good picture when Levi is the subject, I may be a little biased though ;). Levi loves sticks just like Avalon. He picks them up constantly on our walks, often trying to see how big of a branch he can carry.
